Hi, Pinkerton ! OK, I will do it (making myself derivative maps), because historic facts cited by scholar sources aren't my "own preferences". You seem to think I'm a silly person ; I was't considered as such when I taught at the Institute of Byzantine Studies at the Sorbonne University, and the Larousse editions take my remarks into account without taking them for unfounded personal opinions. --Claude Zygiel (talk) 16:56, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
- Your supposed credentials are irrelevant. You cannot alter existing files. You should certainly not be altering scans of paper maps: altering photography to change history is a truly Soviet practice! GPinkerton (talk) 20:14, 27 January 2022 (UTC)

- There are equally wrong maps from the 1680s about the Roman Empire - but while we can judge these historic cartographers on how much they got wrong, we can only produce our own and more correct maps of today. --Enyavar (talk) 10:59, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
