Neither Tintoretto nor Vesalius

This engraving is a copy of Jan Steven van Calcar's portrait of Melchior von Brauweiler, though it was indeed identified as Tintoretto's Vesalius for quite some time. [1]

This portrait by Pierre Poncet would be more appropriate [2]

Unfortunately, I don't know how to edit images and am hoping that someone with the necessary skills will take over.
