It's the difference between intentionally and deliberately committing a war crime by choosing to target civilians, and killing civilians as an unintended result of targetting combattants -- as anybody but a "moral equivalence" ultra-relativist would know. By the way, it was by no means only Hamas who carried out such suicide-terrorism attacks targeting civilians, and some of those groups would still be carrying out such attacks on a regular basis if Israel hadn't found ways of preventing them... As fasr as I can tell that is Finkelstein's words and the big gaping hole is ofcourse that as far as I know Hamas haven't made any such claims. // Liftarn
