Reword for readers who click image

[edit]

The image File:Poweredby_mediawiki_88x31.png is displayed as a thumbnail image at the bottom-right of all those pages. Readers click the logo, to see the description, over 3,200 times per day. Most pages link the logo directly to "http://www.mediawiki.org/" but over 3,200 times (per day), people get the image name. Hence, the image-description page should also explain what is "Powered by MediWiki". I suggest replacing the current description with the following text.

Replace description with:

This is the MediaWiki logo on every MediaWiki page, uploaded for in-page use. MediaWiki is the free wiki software that stores pages and processes the formatting for templates, wikitables, etc. (See: English en:MediaWiki, Deutsch de:MediaWiki, etc.).
The logo is distributed with the MediaWiki software, stored under the UNIX-style file name "skins/common/images/poweredby_mediawiki_88x31.png".
Compare version: .

(Compare [1].)
.

I believe the above description will help those readers (over 3,200 times per day) to compare the other logo images and better understand what "Powered by MediaWiki" means in the stamped logo image. -Wikid77 (talk) 11:04, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
