Source specification
[edit]El-mejor,
could you please
provide a precise source?
-If you picked the file from the internet - please provide a specific URL.
-If you digitized it yourself, then please state so and therefore please specify the book you took as source, e.g. giving the ISBN number. If possible add pagenumber.
-If you made a diagramm yourself - please provide your Template or data-source
-If there is a sourcecode used in generation, it is highly appreciated to provide it.
Thanks in advance. --Itu (talk) 06:50, 1 August 2017 (UTC)
- It's my own creation. It was based loosely on a real life chart of the Zurich Airport - due to copy right restriction of course we can't just upload a copy of a real jeppesson chart to the commons. I don't have that one I used 8 years ago to draw this version (to state it as source anymore) but such charts can be found in the Internet to verify that a chart like this will look so. If you want to verify the names and frequencies, distances and bearings than we have to delete this version since it's only an abstraction to show how it (the STAR, a chart like this) looks like and not to use it for real life navigation. The source I'm stating now is from the internet and showing a copy of real Jeppessen chart (i don't know how they deal with the copy rights but sorry, i don't have the time to clear this). However it's only an online source for flight simulator enthusiasts and the current STAR may differ in real life again. So please decide: Keep it and sustain a piece of quality in some articels or drop it if it doesn't meet the quality requirements but keep in mind that this chart is not to be used for pilots training but for interested people like me to visualize the articles topics for a better understanding. --El-mejor (talk) 06:23, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
