Changed to ceiling fan. I don't know how to revert images, but someone should fix this! --Funkamatic (talk) 14:05, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
- Done, file protected for a year. Thibaut120094 (talk) 15:21, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
Hi! Would like to add this...
[edit]Back in December 2020, i uploaded an image project. It's called the Blue Marble 2.0 Project. It's mission is to remaster the blue marble using modern methods, creating an HD version of this iconic image. Could i/you add this to either the 'other versions or the derivate works? It's doesn't seem to get exposure. — Preceding unsigned comment added by D2Owiki (talk • contribs) 15:02, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- D2Owiki, it can be done, but I'm not really understanding why it should be done. The description on the image's page is vague and doesn't really describe what you're wanting to do or how you're going about it. Is it just compositing images into a whole sphere? — Huntster (t @ c) 21:34, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
- Huntster Yes. It's an artistic project. The original image of Apollo has a very bad resolution compared to what i myself have done composting previous, closer photos. — Preceding unsigned comment added by D2Owiki (talk • contribs) 12:38, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- @D2Owiki: Try File:The Blue Marble 4463x4163.jpg, and signing your posts. — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 12:46, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
- I recently "remastered" The Blue Marble using mission color charts. Where did you aquire such high-res scans? I've tried using scans by the Johnson Space Center but they are nowhere near the resolution you have. Is the stitching manual? I've noticed offsets. Aaron1a12 (talk) 21:14, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
