Mistake in captioning of image

The image shown is used in article Hydrochoerinae on French Wikipedia, and it is captioned "Planche représentant des capybaras par Gustav Mützel, 1927" Gustav Mützel is presumably the creator, and yet his Wikipedia page claims that he lived from 1839–1893. How is it possible that he created something after his death? Or am I misunderstanding, and 1927 was simply the year it was published? SaraIdles (talk) 01:30, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
