According to my opinion the depicted glass can is not an early Barometer (Wetterglas), therefore the upper opening must be closed. Is there any cieteable source? In context with Maria with the holy child, the bed, the wooden bathtub and the chamber pot the glasscan is to be interpreted as a hand washing can (Aquamanile), also iconographically a barometer makes no sense in this altarpice. --Bullenwächter (talk) 08:50, 31 August 2016 (UTC)
