Probably not FDR's Oval Office

[edit]

This is probably not a photograph of FDR's Oval Office. The desk is not the one that he used, which is at the FDR Presidential Museum in Hyde Park, NY.[1]
This is the desk that Harry Truman used. It's more likely his Oval Office.

The LOC source does not attribute it to FDR administration; I'm not sure why the Wikipedia uploader stated it as a fact. I've proposed renaming the photo to attribute it to the photographer rather than mentioning any President in the title. -- Infrogmation (talk) 16:59, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
See related photos on the LOC link for more context and clues of date, as this photo was apparently part of a series by photographer Horydczak. Note that one adjacent [2] is dated "1946", suggesting Truman not FDR era would be correct. -- Infrogmation (talk) 17:04, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
