Chinese boundaries warning tag
[edit]@Abovfold.
You added this tag Template:Chinese boundaries to this map.
1. What specific map features are alleged to "misrepresent Chinese territories?"
2. What source(s) supports this claim?

- @Ooligan, I am the original uploader of this file, this isn't an attempt to suppress it. This map accurately represents internal boundaries and particular locations of sensitivity without government authorization, what China would purport is an illegal survey, as according to Reuters, Song Chaozhi, an official of China's State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, said "foreign organizations who wish to carry out mapping or surveying work within China must make clear that they will not touch upon state secrets or endanger state security." The mere fact of claiming these facilities exist in these places and mapping them out likely violates China's law regarding the misrepresentation of its territories, despite the fact that the claim is true. I added the warning to this as I was cleaning up the page thinking that it might be a useful warning just as I often add the communist insignia warning to my other uploads which include Chinese communist symbology. — Abovfold (talk) 06:22, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
