English: This book consists of the following:
  1. A preface by Luang Prasoet-aksonnit (Phae Talalak), undersecretary of the Department of Education, dated 120 RE (2444 BE, 1901/02 CE).
  2. Phraratchaphongsawadan ("Royal Chronicle"), being a royal chronicle of Siam containing the events prior to the founding of the Ayutthaya Kingdom up to the reign of King Rama I of Bangkok, printed for the first time as this book by the Department of Education of Siam (present-day Ministry of Education of Thailand).
Note: "RE" refers to Rattanakosin Era, the calendar used in the Rattanakosin Kingdom; "BE", Buddhist Era; and "CE", Common Era.
