Svenska: David Beck, holländsk porträttmålare, var verksam i Sverige 1647-1651 som drottning Kristinas hovmålare. Målningen tillhörde drottningen och hon tog den med sig till Rom.
Oljemålning på kopparplåt, monterad på pannå. Midjebild, fas höger, Becks typ III (SPA index III, sid.226 och fig.219). Lösa lockar kring ansiktet, höger arm lyft mot livets spetskrås, armsmycke. Över den vita klänningen en mörk (purpur?) sammetsmantel med hermelinsbräm. Mörk bagkrund.
Snidad och förgylld ram med blad och bandornamentik. Förgylld namnplåt nertill: "S. Bourdon".
A tergo: Två papperslappar med tryckt text fasttejpade: "Sébastian Bourdon (1616-1671) Portrait de Christina de Suède. Tableau sur cuivre. Ham" (otydligt) samt "de séquestre Wasserman". Klistrad lapp med tryckt text: "Registrerad och fotograferad av Svenska Porträttarkivet Nationalmuseum". Ned blyerts på ramens v. hörn "No 2310", på h. sida "ST-11029.01/455".
